Best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days Desktop PC Deals Compared

How We Chose

For this list we compared owner ratings, review counts and the real specs behind each listing: CPU generation and clock, SSD capacity, RAM size and type, GPU VRAM, case size and bundled accessories. We checked each model page on Amazon in October 2026 and pulled the field-level data straight from the listings, then we focused on the picks that hold up on paper and in reviews.

1. Skytech Azure: Best Overall Gaming

The Skytech Azure is the gaming tower to watch during the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals if you want 4K-capable hardware without picking parts yourself. It pairs AMD’s Ryzen 7 9850X3D, a chip reviewers note for gaming throughput, with the Radeon RX 9070 XT and 16GB of GDDR6. The 2TB NVMe SSD keeps load times short and room for a Steam library, and 32GB of DDR5 at 5600MHz means creators can run games and a browser full of tabs at the same time.

The Skytech trades some 1440p headroom for stronger 4K numbers, a bigger SSD and a 360mm AIO cooler. Owners report the build feels solid out of the box, with the tempered glass panel showing off the RGB fans.

Setup note: reviewers recommend plugging the tower into a surge protector before first boot, since the 360mm AIO pump cycles on at startup. Skip this pick if you only play esports at 1080p, the STGAubron covers that at a much lower price.

The warranty is one year on parts and labor, and Skytech’s support is reached through the seller page rather than Amazon directly.

2. iBUYPOWER Element: Best 1440p Gaming Build

The iBUYPOWER Element earns its place on the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals thanks to NVIDIA’s RTX 5070 with 12GB of GDDR7, a card that shines on 1440p panels with DLSS turned on. The Ryzen 9 7900X keeps frame times steady even when streaming or recording in the background, and water cooling keeps thermals quiet under load. RGB fans and a tempered glass side panel make this one of the better-looking towers in the roundup.

Versus the Skytech Azure at #1, the iBUYPOWER leans into 1440p gaming with the RTX 5070 and offers more CPU headroom through the Ryzen 9, but it ships with a 1TB SSD instead of 2TB. Owners mention the build quality is solid out of the box and the included keyboard and mouse are usable for the first week, until you swap in your own.

DLSS and ray tracing at high refresh is where this build shines, while raw 4K throughput is the Skytech Azure’s stronger suit above. For lighter play, the STGAubron covers entry-level esports.

The case weighs 36 pounds, so plan a spot on or under the desk before it arrives.

3. STGAubron Gaming PC: Best Starter Gaming Rig

The STGAubron Gaming PC is the budget pick in the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals. It pairs a Xeon E5 processor with 16GB of RAM and a Radeon RX 560 with 4GB of VRAM, enough horsepower for esports titles at 1080p and lighter single-player games. The 512GB SSD keeps boot times short, and the RGB case plus included gaming mouse and keyboard mean a starter setup is in the box.

The STGAubron trades serious gaming performance for a much lower entry point. Several reviews mention the Xeon architecture is older, so don’t expect modern single-threaded gains, but owners say it runs cool and quiet for everyday tasks and lighter games.

Skip this pick if you want 1440p gaming or longer-term reliability, the iBUYPOWER Element at #2 is the more durable path. Browsing, streaming and esports sit comfortably inside this tower’s wheelhouse.

The 1-year parts and labor warranty is shorter than some prebuilt brands, so factor that into your decision if you plan to keep the rig past year two.

4. HP ProDesk 600G4: Best Refurbished Productivity PC

The HP ProDesk 600G4 is the productivity pick in the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals. With an 8th generation hexa-core i7-8700 and 32GB of DDR4 RAM, it chews through office work, browser tab stacks and light photo or video edits. The 1TB SSD gives you room for files and a fast boot, and built-in Wi-Fi 5G plus Bluetooth removes the need for adapters.

The ProDesk 600G4 adds USB Type-C and a faster i7 chip, while the Dell Optiplex 7040 below holds a slight edge on long-term refurbishability thanks to its small form factor. Owners report smooth multitasking and quiet operation under normal office loads.

Basic browsing only is covered by the Dell Optiplex 3020 at #8 at a lower entry. Heavier office work or stepping up to a creative workload is where the ProDesk 600G4 earns its keep.

The integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 means this is not a gaming machine, but it handles 4K display output and video playback without breaking a sweat.

5. Dell Optiplex 7040: Best Compact Home Office

The Dell Optiplex 7040 earns a spot on the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals for shoppers who want a compact, quiet home office rig. The 6th generation i5-6500 and 16GB of RAM cover document editing, video calls and large spreadsheets without slowdown. The 256GB SSD makes Windows 11 Pro feel snappy, and built-in WiFi means no extra adapters are needed.

The Optiplex 7040 trades raw core count for a slightly newer CPU generation with better single-thread performance, while the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 at #6 adds dual 4K display support. Owners mention the small form factor fits nicely under a monitor and the DVD-RW drive is a bonus for legacy discs.

Skip this pick if you need lots of storage out of the box, the Dell Optiplex 3060 at #7 ships with a 1TB SSD. Browser tabs and Office files are the sweet spot where the Optiplex 7040 sits comfortably.

Only four USB ports are available on the rear panel, so plan a small hub if you connect multiple peripherals.

6. HP EliteDesk 800 G1: Best Dual-Display Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 is a renewed tower that covers the basics of the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals for shoppers who run two monitors at their desk. The 4th generation Intel i5-4590 supports dual 4K output, and 16GB of DDR3 RAM keeps multitasking smooth for everyday office apps. The 1TB HDD plus 256GB SSD combo gives you a fast boot drive and bulk storage for files.

The EliteDesk adds dual 4K display support and a slightly larger RAM ceiling (32GB), but uses older DDR3 memory and an older CPU generation than the Dell Optiplex 7040 above. Owners report solid day-to-day performance for office tasks.

If you only need one monitor, the Dell Optiplex 3020 at #8 is the lower-cost pick. For dual-monitor work on a tight budget, the EliteDesk 800 G1 is the better fit.

The RAM is DDR3, not DDR4, so any future memory additions must match that standard.

7. Dell Optiplex 3060: Best Storage Tower

The Dell Optiplex 3060 is the storage-leading refurbished tower in the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals lineup. The 8th generation hexa-core i5-8500 and 32GB of DDR4 RAM cover heavy multitasking, and the 1TB SSD gives you plenty of room for files and projects. Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth keep the desk clean without extra adapters.

The Optiplex 3060 ships in a similar productivity class to the HP ProDesk 600G4 at #4, but reviewers report the actual installed memory can vary between listings, so check the spec tab on the model page before checkout. Owners praise the fast boot and quiet operation.

A smaller-footprint tower points to the Dell Optiplex 7040 at #5 as the compact alternative. Heavier creative work or many open apps belong on the ProDesk 600G4 above.

The listing sometimes shows 32GB in the marketing copy and ships with 8GB, so verify the spec before checkout.

8. Dell Optiplex 3020: Best Ultra-Budget Pick

The Dell Optiplex 3020 is the lowest-cost pick in the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals, aimed at shoppers who need a basic refurbished tower for everyday tasks. The 4th generation i5-4570 and 8GB of RAM handle web browsing, email, document editing and video calls without drama. The compact small form factor fits on a small desk, and the DVD-RW drive is useful for legacy media.

The 3020 saves money but ships with a 500GB HDD instead of a 1TB SSD like the Dell Optiplex 3060 above, so boot times and app loading are noticeably slower. Owners mention the build is sturdy and the included Windows 11 Pro license is a bonus.

Faster storage points to the Optiplex 3060 at #7 as the better fit. Browsing and light office work is exactly where the 3020 earns its place on a tight budget.

Adding an SSD later is the single best upgrade for this rig, since the 500GB HDD is the slowest part of the package.

9. HP ProDesk 600 G3 Bundle: Best Desktop + Monitor Bundle

The HP ProDesk 600 G3 bundle closes out the list of best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days desktop PC deals with a complete desktop-and-monitor package. You get a 6th generation i5-6500, 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 256GB SSD in the tower, plus a 21.5 inch Full HD monitor, keyboard and mouse. For shoppers setting up a first home office or study space in one delivery, the all-in-one approach saves the hassle of finding a matching display.

The ProDesk 600 G3 trades CPU generation for the included display when measured against the Dell Optiplex 7040 at #5. Owners report mixed experiences with the monitor stand and bundled cables, so factor in a possible stand upgrade. Several reviews note the bundle is a fair starter setup but the tower alone is not a long-term productivity machine.

Shoppers who already have a monitor they like will find the Optiplex 7040 is the cleaner pick. A turnkey desktop-plus-monitor package is exactly where the ProDesk 600 G3 bundle fits.

The bundled monitor uses a standard DisplayPort input, so you can replace it with any 1080p panel later if you want a bigger screen.

How to Choose a Desktop PC During Prime Big Deal Days

Processor Performance

The CPU drives single-threaded speed in games and the multitasking feel of everyday apps. Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 9850X3D class chips lead for gaming, while the Ryzen 9 7900X in the iBUYPOWER Element gives creators extra threads. For office work, an 8th generation i5 or newer (the HP ProDesk 600G4 and Dell Optiplex 3060) covers the workload without overspending. If you mostly travel and play lighter games, consider a handheld gaming PC for travel instead of a full tower.

Memory and Storage

16GB of RAM is the floor for everyday Windows 11 use; 32GB is comfortable for creators and gamers. The Skytech Azure and iBUYPOWER Element ship with 32GB DDR5, the productivity towers here ship with DDR4 at 16GB or 32GB. For storage, a 1TB SSD is the practical minimum (Dell Optiplex 3060, HP ProDesk 600G4). HDD-only builds like the Dell Optiplex 3020 feel slow, plan to add an SSD later if you go that route.

Graphics and Gaming Capability

Integrated graphics (HP ProDesk 600G4, Dell Optiplex 7040, 3060, 3020) are fine for office work, 4K video output and light games. For modern gaming, a discrete GPU is required: the RX 560 in the STGAubron covers 1080p esports, the RTX 5070 in the iBUYPOWER Element drives 1440p, and the RX 9070 XT in the Skytech Azure pushes into 4K. Match the GPU to your target resolution and refresh rate.

Case Size and Upgrade Options

Towers like the Skytech Azure (17.8 inch) and iBUYPOWER Element (17.4 inch) give you room for future GPUs and storage. Small form factor machines like the Dell Optiplex 7040 save desk space but limit GPU upgrades. The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 supports up to 32GB of RAM, while the Dell Optiplex 3020 caps at 8GB. If you plan to upgrade over the next few years, check the case size and PSU wattage on the product page.

Connectivity and Included Accessories

Look for built-in WiFi and Bluetooth to avoid extra adapters. The HP ProDesk 600G4, Dell Optiplex 7040, HP ProDesk 600 G3 and Dell Optiplex 3060 all ship with WiFi. The iBUYPOWER Element and STGAubron include a keyboard and mouse, while the HP ProDesk 600 G3 bundle adds a 21.5 inch monitor. Plan for ports: the Dell Optiplex 7040 has only four USB ports, while the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 has ten.
