Prince William Ice Center is pleased to announce a new and improved Fundraising Program starting January 1, 2010.  Gone are the $500 deposits required when the facility was known as SKATEQUEST Prince William.  The new program requires a minimum security deposit, allows schools more flexibility in the minimum number of tickets that need to be sold and removes the limits on the price you can charge for your tickets.

Here is how the new PWIC Ice Skating Fundraising Program works:

• Security Deposit - $75 which reserves your date for your ice skating fundraising event.  All fundraising events will be held on Saturday nights from 6:30PM to 8:30PM.
• Ticket Price
• 1 to 50 Tickets - $7.00 each
• 50 to 350 tickets - $6.00 EACH
• Ticket price includes admission to Prince William Ice Center and Skate Rental
• No limit on the price you can charge to sell the tickets.
• Extra options include offering pizza and soda, for an addition price.
• Public Ice versus Private Ice
• If you sell less than 200 tickets then your fundraising event will take place during the regularly scheduled Public Skate period on Saturday nights.
• If you sell more than 200 tickets we will convert the skating session to PRIVATE ICE and the rink will not sell tickets on the night of your event to any other customers.
• The decision to convert the event from Public Ice to Private Ice must be made at least 48 hours before the event so that you have the maximum amount of time to sell your event tickets and the rink can announce the schedule change to the general public.
